Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Subcontracts Intern to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Hours are flexible, but candidates must be able to work a minimum of 4 days per week with a maximum of 29 hours per week during regular business hours

  2. Perform subcontract administration functions to include data entry of subcontract information, correspondence, assisting with subcontract generation, file maintenance, and interaction with technical contract managers and external customers.

  3. Research, analyze, and maintain documentation, including subcontracts, modifications, task/delivery orders, representations, certifications and correspondence.

  4. Support Company's compliance with Government socioeconomic programs and initiatives.

  5. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested

Minimum Requirements

  • This is an entry level internship.

  • Candidates should be college juniors or seniors pursuing a degree in Contracts, Finance or Business Administration.

  • Hours are flexible, but candidates must be able to work a minimum of 4 days per week with a maximum of 29 hours per week during regular business hours

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, exceptional word-processing, and experience with database and spreadsheet programs and integrated software applications are required.

  • Candidates must be able to multi-task; effectively manage time and set priorities; and work under firm and quick-turn-around deadlines.

  • Position may require ability to pass a Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenshipOnly Local Candidates will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College course work in the field of Contract Administration is preferred.
