CACI International Systems/Software Engineer in Norfolk, Virginia
CACI has an immediate opening for a Systems/Software Engineer to work in our Norfolk, VA office in support of the Tele-radiology (MEDWEB) and Theater Medical Information Program (TMIP) software products. This individual will be responsible for actively managing and supporting the sustainment engineering lifecycle cycle in support of both IT and non-IT related engineering subject matter expertise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides specific, detailed engineering support related to software maintenance, upgrades and implementation. Identify, assess, and present options for meeting current and future functional and technical requirements.
Ensures logical and systematic review of defects and product requirements for technical analysis, feedback, and resolution.
Works within established configuration and change management policies to ensure common operating environment is compliant and systematically analyzes problems of work flows, organization, planning, and develops appropriate corrective action.
Assist with technical input to installation guides, SOPs, and engineering documents. Develops high level system design diagrams. Troubleshoot and resolve performance, connectivity and related network concerns.

Understand and navigate Host Based Security Systems | Host Intrusion Protection Systems and Information Assurance requirements.
Bachelor Degree (BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of related work experience related to Software Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and/or Training.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Must have a current Information Assurance (IA) Technical Level II or III [Windows Operating System plus certification (i.e. GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP)
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert -MCSE would be viewed as beneficial.
Certification in virtualization technologies and products such as VMWare, and remote administration tools.
Experience with Naval operating environments (i.e. CANES, ISNS, SubLAN, etc.)
