High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
Undergeneral supervision, manage and operate a virtualized Microsoftenvironment.
Perform daily system checks, review and respond to eventsreflected in various management tools, perform server patch management.
Notify Government representative of issues involving performance of theoperating environment.
Conduct system audit reviews and performmaintenance functions as required to ensure system health.
Coordinateefforts with other work centers and personnel to resolve incidents orevents related to systems and supporting infrastructure.
Strongknowledge of Active Directory, clustering, Domain Name System, andDynamic Host Configuration Protocol.
Expert knowledge of and adherenceto change control standards and procedures and problem resolution andtroubleshooting techniques, especially the use of remote servermanagement tools.
Work is performed in 24/7 environment and must be ableto work second/third shifts, weekends, and holidays.
5-9 years ofexperience required. VMware Certified Professional (VCP) required within 6 months of hire, VCA required to start.
Certified in accordance withDODD 8570.1 Information Assurance Technician II or III, as required bythe environment.
IAT 2: NON MCNOSC / NOC GSEC Security+ SSCP IAT 3: MCNOSC / NOC CISA GCIH GCED CISSP (or Associate) CASP
Must be a US Citizen and possess Secret clearance
